We are the Greenvale Art and Cultural Association (formerly Art in Action-Atlantic), and we are trying to save the old Greenvale School on the corner of Ochterloney and Pine Street in downtown Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada.
We currently have a proposal before the Halifax Regional Municipality
to convert the old school building into an Art and Cultural Center. The Center
would house theater groups, non-profit organizations and studios for artists.
Ideally this would open in winter 2000.
Please help us stop this school from being torn down! Make your place in history!
